How to Create a Password Protected Folder

Create a Password Protected Folder without any Extra Software

There are a number of techniques for Folder Lock, which you can use to make a password protected folder, most of Folder Lock techniques demands the use of some third party applications. Using this clean method you can hide your folders with a quick batch script.

It’s necessary to note that this will not actually protect your data from someone who knows what you are doing.

Note: if you are a starter you should be careful with this script.

Create Your Password Protected Folder

Before, proceeding this method you need to create a folder that will main folder for your password protected folder, this is just common folder and can be located anywhere and named anything.

How to Create a Password Protected Folder

Enter into your newly created folder and create a new Text Document file. This can easily be done from the help of following image.

Open the document, now paste the following code into the contents of the document:

Change the PASSWORD_GOES_HERE text to the password you want to set. Now go ahead and save the file as locker.bat.

Once the file is saved as a batch file you can delete the original text file.

Now run your batch file by double clicking on it–the first time you run it, it will create a folder called Private. It is the place where you can store all your important things. When you have complete adding all your data into the Private folder, run locker.bat again.

This time you will be asked if you sure that you want to lock the folder, press the “Y” key and hit enter to lock your folder.

You will see that your Private folder quickly disappears.

If you run the script yet again, you will prompted for a password.

If you enter the same password as you set in the script the Private folder will reappear if you enter the incorrect password the script will just Terminate.

How to See the Files Again

Most people don’t know how to show system files, but anyone who has some experience will easily be able to quickly figure it out in the Folder Options. To see the files again, all you have to do is un-check the boxes for “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” and un-check the box for “Hide protected operating system files”.

But any ordinary user who unchecks the box will most probably be scared off by the warning message that appears.

The 2nd way somebody could encapsulate the folder is to open the batch file and read your password. It’s certainly not a really secure method to hide your files, but it is fun.

If You Forget Your Password

Right-click on the locker.bat file and choose Edit, then you can see the password you set in the file.

Hard Reset your Cherry Mobile Superion Voyager and remove password pattern lock gmail account

Cherry Mobile Superion Voyager Hard Reset

Hard resetting / factory resetting your phone will solve the following issues:

1. If you forgot your pattern lock
2. If you forgot your gmail account
3. If you forgot your password
4. Apps that automatically force closing
5. Stuck in Cherry Mobile Logo (sometimes does not work if the firmware is totally damage)

NOTE: Performing hard reset will erase your data.

To hard reset:

1. Turn off your tablet.
2. Press first the POWER Button wait until the tablet vibrates and then immediately Press and HOLD VOLUME UP until you see the Android Robot.
3. Select English or Chinese if you can understand chinese :)
4. Select wipe / factory reset, press Volume rocker to navigate and press the power button to confirm your selection
5. Reboot your tablet.

Note:
If performing hard reset did not succeed, you need to wipe the cache first in the android system recovery before performing wipe / factory reset.

Remove password pattern lock gmail account in your SKK A6

This tutorial is for SKK A6. We need to use PC to factory reset your phone. Because this phone does not have a android system recovery. But the alternative way is to wipe your phone in fastboot mode. You can wipe your phone in Windows and my favorite Linux OS (Lubuntu).

You can do this in Windows and Linux OS.

First you need to download a file.
1. ADB Fastboot Driver --> Download Here
2. ADB Fastboot Tools -- >Download Here

After Downloading all the files. And install first the driver.

Hard resetting / factory resetting your phone will solve the following issues:
1. If you forgot your pattern lock
2. If you forgot your gmail account
3. If you forgot your password
4. Apps that automatically force closing
5. Stuck in Logo Only (sometimes does not work if the firmware is totally damage)

NOTE: Performing hard reset / factory reset will erase your data.

Using fastboot command.

1.Turn off your phone
2. Press and Hold Volume Down and Power button together
3. A fastboot word in your phone will appear
4. Connect your phone in the PC via USB, the driver will automatically install
5. Go to the file that you extracted and look for commandprompt.bat
6. In command prompt type this two command below

fastboot -w
fastboot reboot

7. Wait for your phone to reboot properly.

LINUX Mode

First you need to update your package manager and download fastboot tools for android.

Here is how to download it
1. Open terminal or press this ctrl + alt + T and it will open up Terminal, this is for Ubuntu, Lubuntu command that I have tried.

2. Then in terminal type the following command

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot

3. After installing it, enter FASTBOOT mode in your phone.
4. Go to terminal again and execute this command

sudo fastboot -w
sudo fastboot reboot

Hard Reset your O 8 52 and remove password pattern lock and gmail account

I will gonna upload the firmware for this phone. It is the O+ 8.52. Meanwhile check out the tutorial on how to hard reset your O+ 8.52.

Hard resetting / factory resetting your phone will solve the following issues:

1. If you forgot your pattern lock
2. If you forgot your gmail account
3. If you forgot your password
4. Apps that automatically force closing
5. Stuck in O+ Logo (sometimes does not work if the firmware is totally damage)

NOTE: Performing hard reset will erase your data.

To hard reset:

1. Turn off your phone.

2. Press and hold first the POWER Button, then immediately press and hold the VOLUME UP. Keep pressing the button before the O+ logo appear.
3. An Android Logo will appear
4. Press Home button to active the Android System Recovery

5. Select wipe / factory reset, press Volume rocker to navigate and press the Option Key (left capacitive key) to confirm your selection
6. Reboot your phone.
